Once a great lake,
it is about to dry up
droughts and glacier melt,
do run it hard
the banks are widening,
they wont ever burst
the fishes are struggling,
they are sensing the threat

Does it happen in reverse?
does it happen at all?
or do all things pass?
do they all pass away?

The slippery still wet silt,
turns into dust
same kind of wasteland,
the earth will be
the day the sun dies,
our home will freeze
and nothing will be left,
to be recognized

Just a few speak from the dead,
as long as they can
how many chances will be left?
Till our world goes down the drain
